Hello, and welcome!

Salt water runs through my veins - I grew up on the Gulf waters of Terra Ceia Bay, Florida and live on the South Shore of Massachusetts.  I started my professional life as an urban and regional planer before migrating to smaller spaces - pursuing a career in interior design.

My career in interiors began working at a national design firm specializing in resort, private club, restaurant and high-end residential clientele while participating in Rhode Island School of Design’s (RISD) interior design certificate program. And, in 2005, having moved back to Florida, I opened a studio and launched Anne Nelson Interior Design (American Society of Interior Designers, ASID # 1937837), offering high-end residential interior design services to clients on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Working on premier properties in Tampa Bay on Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island I developed a reputation for bringing fresh perspective to coastal interiors and with features in area magazines, I rapidly gained a reputation as one of Florida's best young interior designers. In the Spring of 2009 a move back to New England sparked the opportunity to also service clients in metro Boston, the Cape and the Islands.

I live in Duxbury, MA with my husband Jim, our three sons - Thomas, John, and Nate and, a crazy chocolate lab - Sadie. And, ironically, I’m most at home outside - on the beach.  : )
